Salary: $81,690 – $89,615 per annum

Duties:


The Planning Support Officer will work with limited supervision from the Manager Construction to support construction planning and on-station activities.

In this role you will:

  • Procure materials and equipment, including requisitioning and expediting, while complying with Commonwealth procurement rules and systems.
  • Expedite ordered materials and equipment.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are received and then entered into the logistics consignment system.
  • Manage contracts associated with the procurement of materials and services.
  • Consolidate materials and equipment in project/station groupings.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to support resolution of method, material, equipment, and resourcing issues.
  • Liaise with station trades supervision and team members on station to coordinate information and communication as required.
  • Receive and file documentation from suppliers and other stakeholders and share it as required to SMEs, project managers, other stakeholders, and planning systems.
  • Support maintenance of the section worklist in the Project Register.
